Noureen Dewulf Biography
Noureen DeWulf stars in Fox Atomic's football spoof comedy The Comebacks as the only female player on a football team. She recently starred in American Dreamz, the film that spoofed "American Idol", and costarred in Pledge This opposite Paris Hilton. Noureen will be seen this summer in Ocean's Thirteen.
With a growing body of work that includes television and film, Noureen DeWulf is surely becoming the ethnic "it" girl in Hollywood! She is an acting chameleon: transforming from Arab to Indian to good old American. Noureen is known for her quirky comedic character work as well as her serious drama credits. Noureen DeWulf graduated in 3 years from Boston University's School for the Arts and moved to Los Angeles in 2004.
Shortly thereafter she booked a lead role in "West Bank Story" a musical comedy about Palestinians and Israelis. For this role, Noureen's heritage as a Muslim was essential in allowing her to utilize an Arabic accent as well as a true character portrayal. Noureen played "Fatima", a singing and dancing Palestinian cashier who falls in love with David, an Israeli checkpoint guard. The film premiered in competition at Sundance Film Festival 2005 and has since won accolades at several film festivals including "best live action short" at the Malibu Film Festival.
Noureen DeWulf is an anomaly and a contradiction amongst all the blonde beauties in Hollywood. Noureen's unique background: she was born in New York City to traditional Indian Muslim Parents and grew up in Stone Mountain, Georgia before going to school in Boston and relocating to Los Angeles. That makes Noureen an Indian Muslim American southerner-now west coast lover, and she uses her interesting mixed heritage to fuel her comedy and give her many accents which she puts to use. This raven haired actress is poised and ready for super-stardom.
